Real Farmers Development Trust is a trust that is formed to benefit and develop its beneficiaries in the agricultural sector.

Members of the Real Farmer Trust can enjoy a discount, grant/funding opportunities, mentorship programmes and a vast of knowledge that will help scale your enterprise.

We are setting up associate suppliers to help our members with their accounting, financial and other admin functions.  We are also engaging with the newest tech in the market and members will have the opportunity to test these new innovations on their farms.

Members will have the first opportunity to participate in new projects like the current goat model that are envisioned.

Privately owned businesses who are looking at small agri businesses to partner with will have access to our list of members.

You become a member by filling in a Trust sign up document.

After this you will receive a whatsapp message with your unique member number and the bank details of the trust.  You then need to pay the once off joining fee and the monthly subscription to become and become a member.

Yes, Real Farmer Trust can be joined from anywhere in the country.

Yes, new members are required to pay a joining fee of R300, there however a R50 discount applies if you sign up using the Food for Mzansi platform.

Any person or business can join; you do not need to be a farmer.  You can be involved in other agricultural activities or want to learn more about the sector.

Main office is in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth); then we have regional offices in Kimberley, Bloemfontein and Paarl.

Does Real Farmer Trust provide support to emerging farmers?2021-12-07T14:26:06+02:00

The trust will definitely support emerging and subsistence farmers.  They are the group that will initially benefit the most out of the concept.
